YPT are actively involved in hydrometallurgical projects in the territory.

Our plant design allows us to have all emissions (like mercury gas) in its legal limit as per related Health & Safety legislations. Also we limit the fine carbon generation in all every stages of process like, fresh carbon preparation, adsorption, stripping, regeneration etc. And in fine carbon system we capture fine carbon to eliminate production loss and recovering the gold in fine carbon.

YPT carbon column design enables the tank to be taller and have a decreased diameter, this design allows the carbon to have a higher fluidization height in the column. Also the flared top of the column reduces upwards flow velocity to lower the risk of carbon bypass from overflow stream.

Another advantage of the column design is to stop cyclonic flow at the discharge pipe around the dart valves. With this CIC tank design air is not entrained into the process and is prevented from mixing with the fine carbon while its rising in the column.
