FABCELL® Flotation System Equipment

YPT has its own flotation cell design is called FABCELL®.  In this new design, we used the superior automation and control systems  to get optimum process conditions throught the operation.  Some of the main advantages of FABCELL® design: (a) has different sized froth crowders at different stages of flotation,  (b) froth is being collected in from a peripheral launders at outside of the cell; we can also install intermediate boxes  which helps with adding reagents as required.

The YPT FABCELL® designs are available for 0.8-3-5-10 m³ sizes.

FABCELL® is controled system work as;

Air quantity is measured via flowmeter and pneumatic ally activated proportioning butterfly valves,

Control of slurry or froth level is via target plate level sensor and pneumatic ally activated proportioning pinch valves.

FABCELL® flotation is a proven technology with a successful (normal or reverse) flotation applications on polymetallic and industrial materials. The circular tank design allows uniform mixing of air through out the mixing zone. Polymetallic is a wave breaker at the centre of the tank to have steady upstream move of the froth with a minimum of turbulence is included.

YPT supplies a dedicated PLC for each bank(s) of cells to control and regulate operation whenever necessary even to as often as every millisecond. The operator can set up the required air flow and froth level parameters via the PLC. The system also includes 4-20 mA calibration if required control box for sensors on the PLC board.
