Studies & Project Development


Studies & Project Development form the strategic foundation of successful mineral processing projects by translating early-stage concepts into structured, decision-ready projects.
This service covers Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEA), Pre-Feasibility Studies (PFS), and Feasibility Studies (FS), each progressively increasing the level of technical definition, cost accuracy, and risk understanding.
Metallurgical test work, process selection, capital and operating cost estimates, and project execution strategies are evaluated in an integrated manner.
The studies are developed to support investment decisions, financing discussions, and permitting processes with defensible technical and economic justification.

Front End Engineering Design (FEED)


Front End Engineering Design (FEED) represents the critical transition from project definition to execution-ready engineering.
This phase produces a sufficiently detailed engineering package that enables EPC or EPCM tendering, early contractor involvement, and the initiation of long-lead equipment procurement.
Process design, layout development, equipment lists, execution strategies, and cost and schedule baselines are defined with a high level of confidence.
FEED establishes the technical, commercial, and execution framework upon which full Detailed Engineering is built.
By delivering a robust FEED package, YPT minimizes scope growth, improves cost certainty, and significantly reduces execution-phase risks.

At this stage, YPT develops general arrangements, process flow diagrams (PFDs), preliminary P&IDs, and equipment datasheets.
The focus is on defining plant layout, mechanical interfaces, and utility requirements with clarity and precision.
Our strategy emphasizes early alignment among all disciplines — process, mechanical, electrical, civil — to prevent design conflicts downstream.
